What You Get

This is the service for mailboxes that are structurally sound but look rough. Faded paint, minor rust spots, dirt buildup. We bring it back to looking new.

Complete Process

• Deep Cleaning: Remove dirt, grime, mildew, and debris from both post and box
• Surface Prep: Sand down rough spots, flaking paint, and surface rust
• Rust Treatment: Apply rust converter to any rust spots, prime properly
• Full Repaint: Weather-grade exterior paint on post and mailbox
• Hardware Check: Tighten screws, bolts, hinges. Replace if needed (small parts included)
• Minor Adjustments: Level the box, adjust door alignment, fix flag mechanism
• Site Clean-Up: We clean up all materials, no mess left behind

When You Need This Service

You need a refresh if your mailbox has these issues but is still solid:

• Paint is faded from sun exposure
• Chipping or peeling paint
• Surface rust spots (not structural)
• Mailbox looks dingy or weathered
• Minor dings or scratches
• Post and box are still firmly attached
• No rot or major damage

Materials We Use

• Exterior-grade acrylic latex paint (your choice of standard colors)
• Rust converter and metal primer
• Marine-grade stainless hardware (if replacement needed)
• UV-resistant clear coat for extra protection

What's NOT Included

This service is cosmetic only. We don't do structural repairs in a Refresh. If you need:

• Post replacement or stabilization
• Box replacement or major repair
• Concrete work
• Wood rot repair

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I pick my paint color?

Yes, within reason. Standard colors (black, white, gray, brown) are included. Custom colors may have a small upcharge for paint cost.

How long does the paint last?

3-5 years in South Carolina weather if properly maintained. We use quality exterior paint designed for this climate.

Do I need to be home?

No, we work outside. Just make sure we can access the mailbox.

What if it rains?

We'll reschedule. Paint needs dry conditions to cure properly. We watch the weather and will call if conditions aren't good.
