What You Get

This is a complete installation from scratch. Either there's no mailbox at all, yours is completely destroyed, or you want to upgrade to something better. We do it all.

Complete Process

• Site Assessment: Verify USPS setback requirements, check for underground utilities, confirm HOA rules if applicable
• Excavation: Dig 2-foot deep hole for proper foundation
• Post Installation: 4x4 pressure-treated post (ground contact rated), properly set and leveled
• Concrete Foundation: Professional concrete pour, proper depth and cure
• Mailbox Mounting: USPS-regulation mailbox, properly positioned and secured
• House Numbers: Reflective numbers applied (required by many jurisdictions)
• Full Paint Job: Complete weather-grade paint on post and box
• USPS Compliance Check: Height, setback, and stability meet all federal requirements
• Site Clean-Up: Remove all excess dirt, materials, restore landscaping

• Reflective vinyl house numbers (3-inch minimum)

USPS Compliance

We follow all federal mailbox regulations:

• Height: 41-45 inches from road surface to bottom of mailbox
• Setback: 6-8 inches back from curb face (or edge of road)
• Stability: Post must be firm but designed to breakaway if hit
• Access: Carrier must be able to reach mailbox from vehicle

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to contact USPS before installation?

Not usually, unless you're moving an existing mailbox location. We install to USPS specs, so approval is built-in. If location change is needed, we'll help you through that process.

What if I have an HOA?

We can work with HOA requirements. Bring us their specs and we'll match them. Some HOAs require specific styles or colors.

How long does the concrete really need to cure?

Minimum 48 hours to full strength. It's firm after 24, but we let it cure fully before mounting the mailbox. Anyone who tells you different is cutting corners.

Can I use my own mailbox?

If it's USPS approved and in good condition, yes. We'll install it. Just make sure it meets size regulations.

What about underground utilities?

You should call 811 before we dig. It's free and required by law. We'll wait for clearance before excavation.

Do you offer any warranty?

Materials and workmanship are guaranteed for 1 year. If something we installed fails due to our work, we fix it at no charge. Acts of God (vehicles, storms, etc.) are not covered.
